A mouse kneads dough beside a finished loaf. Elsewhere, a baker lifts bread from a brick oven, a fox pedals off with baguettes, and another mouse opens a steamer full of buns. These 80 bread coloring pages mix wide kitchen scenes with simple close views of loaves, rolls, and slices.
Choose a page by what you would like to color: broad crust shapes, a baking action, or a scene with more little objects. Each picture has an A4 and US Letter PDF, and you can color the same drawing online.
Loaves, dough, and a first picnic
The mouse at the dough table and the two rabbits at supper begin with small, furnished scenes. Then the view moves close to three kinds of bread, a cooling rack, a scored round loaf, and a thick slice. The fox’s bicycle and the picnic beneath a tree give the first ten pages room to breathe.
From the worktable to the oven
Follow the shapes as they change: a rolled sheet, a twisted pretzel, and rings lifted from a pot. The hedgehog works herbs into a wide focaccia, while another baker holds a flatbread on a spatula above the pan. The braided wreath on the door has the most repeating curves in this group.
Bread carried through town
These scenes leave the bakery for a garden path, a horse cart, and a rainy walk beneath an umbrella. The pita and sandwich pages put bread back in close view. If you want fewer little spaces, the rounded dough in the bowl and the two large pita breads are good places to start.
Crusts, shelves, and market days
The two split round bread halves have flat centers; the long loaf slice shows open crumb; the round loaf is all scored crust. These close views sit between the busy market stall and tall bread rack. The mouse rowing a loaf-shaped boat is the playful odd one out.
Hands at work and bread to share
Small gestures carry these pictures: twisting a breadstick, weighing dough, brushing rolls, and passing a basket. The older woman by the hearth holds a loaf large enough to fill with one main crust color. On the rack, a braided loaf offers a slower path through its overlapping strands.
Lunches, deliveries, and warm bread
A lunch box and a trail break bring bread outdoors, while slicing, rolling, and lifting a pot lid return to the worktable. The rabbit’s wheelbarrow carries one oversized loaf. For an especially simple page, try the knot-shaped rolls or the bread bowl with its lid set aside.
Windows, racks, and a train journey
A hanging pretzel makes a simple page here; the rack of baguettes asks for more careful work along the long crust cuts. Three rolls by a window, a steamer of buns, and a tall fruit-studded loaf all keep the bread close. The view opens up again at the beach blanket and train platform, with a bread wedge in a skillet between them.
Bread for the road and the table
Snow gathers around a baker’s sled of loaves, and two birds wait near a park bench where a roll has been broken. Indoors, pull-apart bread and rainy-window toast have generous spaces. The tiny bakery, hedgehog with a loaf, and final table of breads make a fitting place to end.
Picking colors for bread
The loaves have different shapes, so they need not share one brown. You might leave a sliced center pale, make the crust a little deeper, and choose a separate color for the pan, cloth, or basket. On the tall fruit loaf page, the fruit pieces can provide tiny accents without filling every crumb mark.
For a quick page, choose the round loaf in its basket, the bread bowl, or the hanging pretzel. The market stall, train platform, and bakery gathering have more parts to color. Pick the PDF that matches your printer paper and check its preview before printing; the Color online action is available on each picture card if you would rather work in your browser.
