One frog settles down to write a letter; another sits low beside a fallen leaf. These 80 frog coloring pages mix storybook characters with simpler nature drawings, from long-legged climbers to broad frogs with patterned backs. There are kitchens, tiny shops, and plenty of lily pads along the way.
Choose PDF A4 or US Letter beneath a picture to download its printable page. Color online opens that drawing in the coloring tool. The Choose a theme menu skips to a group.
A Little Frog Life
The letter-writing frog has long legs and a broad, flat head. Compare it with the low, round frog beside a leaf and the slender climber on a branch. A duckling shares a leaf boat, and two frogs work on a tray of strawberry tarts.
There are towels to fold, plants to water, and a cushion fort to build. Choose a page with two frogs if you want to give each one a different color or pattern. The armchair and blanket give you larger areas to fill.
Long jumps, floating leaves, and a nap on a lily pad bring the frogs back outside. Leave some of the water white and add pale blue around the ripples, or use a darker pond color to make the leaves stand out.
Some frogs are round and low to the ground; others have long folded legs and broad toe pads. Several have outlined spots or stripes you can fill separately. These are simplified cartoon designs, with more attention to differences in shape than tiny skin details.
A mouse helps launch a paper boat, a hedgehog joins the tea table, and a kitten watches from the pond bank. The snail gets a much smaller share of the umbrella.
A teapot becomes a bakery, a hollow stump holds books, and a rain boot has a front door. These small imaginary places have a few more corners and objects to color than the single-frog pages.
For fewer details, start with the frog on a stone or the sleeping frog. Broad bodies and plain leaves leave room for crayons, markers, or patterns of your own.
Try a pale green frog with darker outlined spots, or give two friends different greens. Pink strawberries and a cream tablecloth work well with the baking scene. On the pond pages, a yellow water lily gives you a small bright area among the greens and blues.
Printing your page
Match the PDF to the paper in your printer, then check the preview before printing. For markers, place a spare sheet under the page. Colored pencils are useful for the smaller spaces around fingers, flowers, and book pages.
